Magalog 2: New Goodies!!!

Happy Sunday Lovelies!

I know this is a little backwards, since I did the new, new stuff yesterday and now I'm going back a mag today. But...what can I say, that's just how I roll.

Before I begin with these reviews, I want to to take a minute and address something. mark. is my business, I invest a lot in this business because one of the best ways to be successful is to wear and share. The majority of the products I purchase with my profits from my business, OR I EARN them through various incentives offered on my team or through the Mentor Assistant program. I DO NOT purchase these on a credit card and in fact, I highly recommend not to do that. In addition, I want to point out that to be a successful mark. rep it is not necessary to purchase all of these items, I just really like the style of these things and most of my wardrobe consists of mark. fashion.  I just felt like I needed to address that, so thanks for listening :-)

So here is my review of the new items from the previous mag:

Fashion!!! This mag has some of the best mark. fashion I've seen since fall of 2011!! I was so excited about all of it, and I couldn't wait to try it all out. The bright blue leggings are awesome! They are officially called the On the Bright Track Sweatpant Jeans, and I hate that we used the word sweatpant. Ugh, really? BUT the good news is, these are NOT sweatpants. They are comfy, stretchy jeggings. And surprisingly neutral. They look great with black booties and a longer, tunic style, black top. I have them in a Medium and they fit like a glove!

First up, the Boho Blend scarf. Easily the most wearable and most versatile piece in the mag. It was modeled after a designer scarf, and the last time we had a scarf like this is sold out completely. It's a great transition piece and you can use this to dress up or down. I have worn this to work and out on the weekends. I love how light weight the material is and the bright colors and so pretty and fun for spring and beyond!

A Little Bit of Edge Jacket. Or as I like to call it, A Little Bit of AWESOME Jacket!! Moto jackets are a HUGE trend right now, and I love the color of this one! It's very fitted, I ordered a large in this, and while I probably could have gotten away with a medium I just feel more comfortable having extra room. This hits at your natural waist line, so it's short. I love the zipper detail, and my FAVE part about this jacket is the back (which sadly I forgot to take a picture of, BUT you can peek here).

Funky, Funky! Love the edgy twist on the classic diamond stud! These Chain Reaction earrings come in hematite (shown) and burnished brass (gold-ish). I wear these a lot, and like how versatile they are. Rock Glam is how I describe them. Appropriate for day or night, and depending on the environment, you could rock these at work too!

I'm Hooked Bracelet. These come in gold or hematite, AND they come in large or small. This is the first time mark. has made a bracelet and given us size options! I love that! I have tiny, tiny wrists so this is fantastic news! All of mine are in small and I have to say that they are still too big for me. I have to squeeze them closer  to get them to stay and push them further up on my arm. I do really love these, and they really are blingy! A great addition to your jewelry wardrobe.

Double Skull Ring. I know that not everyone is a fan of skulls, but I am. And I freakin love these rings! I am wearing two in the picture, and love that you can pinch their little heads together to make them a tighter fit, and I love wearing more than one at a time! Super cool and super chic! More Rock Glam, love it!

So, wait. Isn't mark. a cosmetics brand too? Um, heck yes it is! And here are some of the great new cosmetics for spring! We are debuting a new hand lotion, smaller and more purse friendly than previously. And it comes in two options: Lemon Sugar or Pear Blossom. The pear one is my FAVE, by far! It's not greasy and has a light scent that won't over power you. The next thing in the photo is the All the Highlights highlighter. Mine has been used, when it's new the butterfly is bright pink, but after a few swirls you can't see it any more (see new here). I really love this product! It's great all over the face (use a powder brush) and great on your eyes (just use your pinky).

We are also introducing four new shades of gloss gorgeous this mag, which is a favorite of mine (love Bare). I grabbed Vibe (top) and Frilly (bottom - duh). I love that these are a gloss AND a stain. So you are getting two products in one, and they are fairly sheer, so don't let the label color fool you.

There were a couple of other new products in this mag, but I didn't get them so I don't want to do a review on them because I don't have personal experience with them.

Curious about any of these? Want to see them in person? Let's hook-up and do a party!!! So much fun and you get FREE STUFF just for hanging out with your friends!

Night Iris Launch

Hello Beauties!!!

I hope you are all well :-)

Since it's been some time since my last post, I am playing catch-up. Today's post is going to be all about the new items from Mag 3. This includes the launch of mark.'s newest fragrance: Night Iris. I absolutely LOVE spring and i am totally pumped for this mag!

Fresh, feminine and flirty!

Here we go:

See and Be Scene Dress: I've had this dress for about a month now, but I just wore it for the first time last weekend (and I just washed it, hence the laundry room photo). I love how flattering this dress is! There's draping across the top and across your stomach area - and let's be real, who couldn't use a little camo in that area ;-) I love the water color design on the dress, and can I just say that I freakin love that it's purple!! Such a great color for spring and a refreshing way to spice up your wardrobe. I wore this with black tights and booties and a lilac cardi to work. So cute!

Decked out Necklace (turquoise, and fuchsia) AND Show Off Ring (lime green and fuchsia and turquoise and dusty rose): Adorable!!! I wore the fuchsia ring and necklace with the dress above and its so cute! I love the bold statement pieces and the fresh colors! Such a relief from dark and deep jewel tones (which I also love) and the grays and blacks of winter. I can see rocking these all the way through summer!

Lovin and Leafin Earrings and the Don't Leaf Me This Way necklace. Um, okay these are so chic and cool I can't even stand it! For real. Both the earrings and necklace are made from REAL LEAVES!!! Yes you read that right, those are real leaves on that chain. There's a whole process where the leaves are dried out and dipped in bronze, then in silver. So guess what?!? Each piece is unique, no two are a like! See?? I told you, super cool right?? And they are super affordable too! Earrings are $20 and the necklace is $22.

This picture is not the best. Maybe too much coffee, or too much excitement...not sure. (You can see a waaaay bettter one here). The Triple Threat Earring set (hehe that rhymes!). I adore these! I love the simplicity of a stud earring (good lord I am cracking myself up today - a stud, ha!). You get all three of these in the set, the turquoise earrings are my fave, they remind of a pair I had when I was little but they are now grown up-appropriate). I also adore the wishbones, and the pyramid domes. Very chic!

Alright, Lord help me. Deep breath! Rebecca Minkoff (a.k.a. my favorite designer of ALL TIME, second only to Chanel) has teamed up with mark. to design this amazingly, fabulous, out of this world, chic and stylish bag. The strap is adjustable and the style is meant to be cross body, or you can tuck the strap inside and use it as a clutch (which I love!). The flap has a magnetic snap closure, and there is a zippered pocket at the back, two slip pockets at the front and an ADORABLE little business card pocket that says Rebecca Minkoff <3 mark. OMG, sigh! One of her bags in this similar style will set you back in excess of $200. This magnificent creation is a STEAL; it's only a mere $60. That's right for just $60 you can own a Rebecca Minkoff creation. I have goosebumps right now. Ahhh....

Another fave bag of mine is the Bohemian Style Bag. It's so adorable and comfy. It holds a ton and has a cinching drawstring style closure. A great work bag and a great weekend casual style. I also love the silvertone hardware, and the vintagey worn in look of this bag.

The Violet Femme Nailed It Duo. I am obsessed!! The darker purple shade is a gorgeous royal purple color and is so great on toes and hands! The lilac shade is a great neutral twist for your hands, and I have to say on me I am not a fan of this shade on my toes. If I were tan or had a darker skin tone this would be devine, but I am too pale to make it work on my feet. I also love wearing them together. I painted all of my fingers purple except my ring fingers, and on those two fingers I did the lilac color. SO cute!

And here it is!!! The new fragrance from mark.!! Night Iris (P.S. it's limited edition - so get it while you can). I can't describe this properly so I am borrowing the description from the mark. website: "Its dark, mysterious beauty draws you in. Its scent surprises, lighter than you’d ever expect. This is Night Iris as it’s never been before, artfully blended with hints of water lily, exotic berries and purple freesia to add to its feminine allure. 1.7 fl. oz." I have tons of samples so if you would like one let me know :-)

So there you go lovelies!! Which one of these item(s) are you most stoked for??

If you'd like to be a mark. hostess you could earn $80 in free product!! (That's the RM bag and then some!), if you're interested all I need from you is:
- 4 of your besties
- a location
- snacks and drinks
That's it! I bring the rest, including goodie bags, and product, as well as samples and hostess gifts for you!

January Favorites

Happy February Beauties!

I had hoped to have this post finished on Jan 31st, but this past week has been sooooooooo...busy!

We were fostering a rottweiler puppy for the week, and all my attention was on him and of course my two dogs.

(not sure why I can't get this to rotate - so I apologize!)

Anyway, as January has ended I wanted to share some of my favorite things from the month, so let's get started:

1. Revlon Lip Butters (Peach Parfait and Red Velvet)

This is an amazing product; it's part lip balm and part lip stick. It's moisturizing and gives a great wash of color. These two shades are the only two I have tried but I definitely would like to pick up a couple more. Peach Parfait is a very neutral lip shade, and on me it's pretty much the same exact color as my lips, but better. Red Velvet is a GORGEOUS shade of red, and I have gotten several compliments on it! I think I have finally found my red lipstick! Too bad they don't taste like the names they have :( But there really isn't a flavor or a smell to these which is great because ultimately I don't want to eat them, I want to wear them, hehe.

2. Target Tights

Bored with your wardrobe? Meet your new BFF!! Tights are a GREAT way to update your wardrobe in the winter, and spring too! These tights are on an end cap by the socks at Target. They are $5 per pair and they come in a wide variety from basic neutrals (brown and black) to wild and crazy (red, yellow, army green, and "smurf blue"). So much fun and so cheap! They also have a foot-less version so beware when you are shopping that you get the right ones for what you want! Target used to have them with prints on them too, but I haven't seen those in awhile.

3. Olay Body Ribbons Body Wash

I have used this product on and off since it came out (around 2005 or so maybe). Olay has a few different smells/varieties, but I love the pink one. It has almond oil in it and it smells amazing! It's so creamy and is super moisturizing. Some days I don't even wear perfume because I am so in love with the smell of this that I don't want to cover it up!

4. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle

This product was recommended to me on Facebook when I had a post about favorite hair products. I freakin love this! First of all let me tell you it's super cheap (like $5 ish) and it seriously is a miracle worker on your hair. I wouldn't use it everyday, more like once a week; but if you flat iron, blow dry, or use other heat styling tools this is a great way to replenish the moisture in your hair and it smells yummy! It says to leave it in for 3 minutes (hence the name) so I put it in, scrub up and shave, etc. then rinse and it's about 3 minutes. So great.

5. Sassy mark. Fragrance (fragrance spray and dry oil mist)

This is my all time, hands down, FAVORITE mark. fragrance. It was the first one I tried and I just adore it. I am not going to try to describe the scent to you, other than it smells clean and when you smell it you want to snuggle in and smell some more. I love using the dry oil mist after I put lotion on when I get out of the shower. Then I use the actual fragrance spray on my wrists and back of my neck. Yum! (if you are interested in smelling this I have tons of samples or you can go here and read the description).

6. mark. Just Pinched (Cheeky and Peachy)

So I've had these for awhile but I just kind of rediscovered them at the beginning of the month. I love cheeky (gorgeous pink) and Peachy (gorgeous peach - duh!) for me. I am sooooooo friggin pale (think Bella Cullen, then go two shades lighter and there's me) and these are a great way to brighten up. I will tell you that if you have oily skin these probably aren't the best choice for you as they are a cream blush and will melt off. For those with normal to dry skin these are great. Another little trick - use with LIQUID foundation for better results. And they are a little bright, but I swipe them right on the apples of my cheeks and use my fingers to blend - gorgeous!

7. mar. Touch and Glow Shimmer Cubes

So as you can see these are definitely a favorite of mine. LOL, those cubes are almost flat! I use a blush brush to swirl all over the cubes and apply these like blush. I use this most days and I like the dewy blush they add to my otherwise pale complexion. I also like to use my finger tips to apply these as eyeshadows too! Such a great multi tasking product. It also won a CEW award last year (check it out here)

8. Lip Smacker Dr. Pepper Lip Balm

Alright, so I am not a fan (at all) of Dr. Pepper the soda. BUT after reading hundreds of articles about how this is like a cult favorite, I caved and spent the $1.50 at Target. And O.M.G. best $1.50 E-V-E-R!!!! This does smell like a can of Dr. Pepper but mostly it smells like cherries, it does have somewhat of a flavor if you lick your lips, but it's all good. I also love that it gives your lips a hint of color too. And it's super moisturizing! So much fun and a great beauty pick-me-up for only $1.50.

What are some of your January faves?? Have you tried any of these products yet? Comment below I love to read them!
